This dialog is used to estimate the milk weights for a milking based on other milking(s) for that test date. You can get to this dialog via the Enter Test Data Dialog and pressing the Estimate Test Data for this Milking button.
DairyLive estimates the milk, fat, and protein weights by averaging the other known milkings for that test day for each animal. For example, suppose you milk your cows three time a day. If cow "198" milked 32 pounds at milking 1 and 34 pounds at milking 2, the estimate for milking 3 would be 33 pounds (32 + 34 / 2). You can adjust the estimate by providing a percentage to add or subtract from the average.
Note: If an animal already has a value entered for the milking, DairyLive will not estimate it. Also, if no other values are found for other milkings, DairyLive will not estimate, since it has no data to base it on.
